Adult Protective Services
The program is aimed primarily at adults who need services because they are:

- Harmed, threatened with harm, or caused physical or mental injury as a
result of action or inaction by another person or their own actions, due to
ignorance, illiteracy, incompetence, or poor health.

- Lacking in necessary food, shelter, or clothing.
- Deprived of entitlement due them.
- Exploited of their income or resources.
Such services can include information and referral to community resources, protective services such as arranging for
conservatorship and investigating mandatory reports of adult abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and completing assessments relating to out-of-home care placements. Age 18 or over.
