Psychiatric Emergency Services

The Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) is an outpatient program that provides crisis intervention and stabilization services to individuals in need of immediate crisis services.

This program provides:
  • Crisis intervention services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in a psychiatric emergency room
  • 23-hour crisis stabilization to prevent the need for inpatient hospitalization
  • A treatment team consisting of physicians, nurses, mental health workers and clinicians to provide care and assistance including linkage to community providers and/or outpatient services.
